Western Oregon University began publishing a student newspaper in 1923, when the school was still known as Oregon Normal School. Students have continued to publish newspapers since, with only a few missed issues to date.

The name of the school and title of the newspaper have varied historically, and it should be noted that volume and issue numbers are sometimes inconsistent.

University Archives does not have a complete run of all titles, so not all issues are available. Original copies of the student newspapers are kept in University Archives.
