Previous research regarding mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI) indicates that even one mTBI can result in long-term cognitive deficits in memory, speed of processing, and attention. This study further investigated this research with the hypothesis that, after controlling for other influences of cognitive functioning, individuals with 2 or more mTBI would perform more poorly on a battery of cognitive tests than individuals with 0- 1 mTBI.
