Description
Isaac and Margaret Smith describe the welfare of their family, their children going to school in Monmouth, and Isaac Butler's move to Monmouth to go into business with Boon, who is reported as a gambler. They also send news of the first murder in the neighborhood and the general economy. A post script has tracings of the size and variety of apples grown in the area.
