Abstract

For retro radio lovers who want a connected radio, RetroRadio is a software platform that enables you to retrofit existing radios using their pre-existing knobs, switches, and dials to tune internet radio services. Unlike the current open source radio projects, retro radio is targeted specifically toward hackers and makers that which to create internet connected radios from vintage radio system rather than create systems with touch screens. The goal of this project is to be as configurable as possible and enable the retrofitting of a wide array of antique and vintage radios with modern internet connectivity.
