Academic Excellence Showcase is an annual conference celebrating the accomplishments of Western Oregon University students. Showcase is Western’s flagship conference. Every year we curate the most outstanding products of WOU student academic engagement, across the full breadth of the curriculum, into a single day of presentations. Showcase is a production of WOU's Program for Undergraduate Research Experience. Hundreds of visitors attend the conference, making Showcase an opportunity to share the outstanding caliber of work being accomplished though the educational collaboration of faculty, staff and students here at Western Oregon University. Every Showcase conference includes a plenary keynote to which all conference attendees are invited. This year's Presidential Plenary, will focus on the 2018 AES theme of POWER. The 13th annual Academic Excellence Showcase will fall on May 31, 2018. Our theme this year is "Power". The conference begins at 8 am, runs though the evening and is free and open to the public. The Presidential Plenary keynote will be given at 11:30 am on the day of Showcase and will feature a program that investigates the varied meanings of "Power". We hope to see you at this year's Academic Excellence Showcase!
