Abstract

I will be presenting stories of the wonderful experiences that I had, starting with my trip to Berlin. The beautiful museums and the historical land marks allowed me to view the world from a new perspective, as well as experience parts of history first hand, rather than just in a text book. Visiting the remains of Dachau, the first concentration camp built and the last still standing in Germany, was indescribably sobering. Seeing one of the darkest pieces of human history laid about before me is something I will never forget. Finally, the loveliness of Heidelberg and its Christmas markets is an event that everyone should experience at least once in their life.
