Abstract

This presentation will describe a detailed process of theatrical interpreting from script to stage, including developing name signs, assigning characters to interpreters, dividing scenes for team purposes, and formulating interpretations. There will also be a discussion comparing and contrasting the different approaches to translating genre texts, and the uniqueness of theatrical interpreting.
