Abstract

This film shows the J.B Jackson tradition in landscape study through ideas about the urban landscape as transformed it into “Portlantopia”, a version of emerging everyday life in a metropolitan area. The film focuses on concepts of travel within a city landscape, not just cars, but transportation alternatives that many people use in this up and coming city. This shows the way people interact within the landscape of Portland, Oregon.
