Abstract

Carissa Culver outlines her experience as an American Sign Language (ASL) and English Interpreting Intern and the impacts the internship experience has had and will continue to have on Culver's professional development. This presentation will provide a snapshot of the culminating endeavor of WOU's Interpreting Program seniors: the internship. Also addressed will be struggles and triumphs, and other tidbits, shared from one intern's perspective.
