Abstract

This summative presentation highlights the main topics and themes from ED 622: Sociopolitical Foundations of ESOL/Bilingual Education. With a brief discussion of the politics and relevance of ELL education in today’s schools, there will be a primary focus on the significance of bilingual programs within the K-12 school system as a beneficial method to support participating students of all cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
