Abstract

This is my “My Choice” assignment for ED 100 this fall. For this project, I chose to do an abstract watercolor painting to represent three cornerstone characteristics of my future classroom, being Energy, Growth, and Diversity. The brilliant colors in the painting represent the creative and unique energies produced by students. Growth is represented by the colors mixing with each other, showing relationships and inspiration growing. In my classroom, I want diversity to be embraced and not just tolerated, so I represented my students with abstract forms in acrylic to show that every student is unique and precious to our world.
