Abstract

This poster will present my research done in a 10th grade Global studies classroom with 32 students of various backgrounds. The study looks at the effects of a content specific word wall on the comfort level of the students in the class. The purpose is to see if word walls can help student feel more comfortable with content in a social studies class. The students will be asked to take a pre and a post survey and they will be observed during the data collection time period. Data collection is ongoing.
