Abstract

In this presentation, we develop the vector function representing the position equation for a model depicting the projectile of an object. The model developed considers the effect of air resistance. Furthermore, we analyze the optimal angle for the projectile to achieve maximum height and distance. Specifically, we consider the hammer throw and compare the theoretical range with the experimental range.
