Abstract

The power of prayer is controversial. Western Medicine does not rely on prayer for healing, although this has been used effectively. This presentation reviews the research and case studies where the power of prayer was effectively used in healing illness. An explanation of the history of prayer, the definition of spiritual and/or religious and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine’s official position will be presented.
